Guided Tours – Frequently Asked Questions

Arrival – Our doors will open no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start time of your tour.

Parking – there is ample free parking on-site

Finding us – Knowsley Hall is easily accessible by car from the motorway. We are 24 miles from Manchester and 7 miles from Liverpool. For sat nav purposes please use postcode L34 4AJ

Can tickets be purchased at the venue on the day – This is a ticketed event and tickets must be purchased online prior to arrival.

How long does the tours last – Expect the tour to last 90 minutes.

Are photographs allowed – We do not allow photographs to be taken inside the Hall during the tour

Mobility issues – The tour involves walking around the Hall and going up stairs to the State Dining Room.  Please inform us prior to your arrival if you have any mobility issues.  You can read our accessibility information HERE

Refunds – Due to the nature of the Guided Tours we are unable to offer a refund.  The Hall is only open for tours to the public once a year for one week so you will be offered an alternative date at our next Guided Tours event.

Cash Machine – there are no cash facilities on the premises.  However we do have a card machine should you wish to buy merchandise during your visit e.g. postcards, guidebook.

Refreshments – included in your ticket price is your guided tour with refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits.  We don’t have a café onsite to purchase other food items.
