The Earl & Countess of Derby invite you into their home to experience the gastronomic delights of their executive chef Paul Macnish. This is a unique chance to experience fine dining of the highest quality within an authentic stately home.
For a price of £95 per person you will enjoy a 5 course tasting menu and each course will be accompanied by the perfect wine selected by the Sommelier from wine Merchant Boutinot.

Our Executive Chef Paul Macnish has created this delicious new tasting menu for the 19th May Exquisite Evening. A Sommelier from wine merchant Boutinot will be serving the perfect complimentary wine to accompany each course.
Freshly baked bread & butter selection
(Oyster two ways)
(Watermelon & horseradish textures)
(Cornish crab, crispy squid, cardamom emulsion, pomegranate)
Leaves & bubbles
(Basil & lime sorbet, elderflower & champagne espuma)
(Knowsley lamb, truffled celeriac, pickled cucumber, lamb neck suet pudding)
Greenery for the scenery
(Chocolate custard tuille sandwich, avocado ice cream, aerated pistachio sponge, kaffir lime syrup)
Finished with Knowsley’s own blend of tea, coffee & petit fours

For those who would like to extend the experience further why not stay overnight in one of our 15 bedrooms which have received 5* Gold award from Visit Britain. Each room has been individually designed by The Countess of Derby herself and are immaculately maintained to a high standard by our housekeeping team. Expect country house chic, immaculately high standards and heritage meets updated luxury. A full English and continental breakfast is served the next morning.
